Courtyard farmhouse extension

Conversion Architectural Services

Converting existing buildings forms the majority of our work load.

Complete re modelling of an existing building to give a light and airy interior and a new architectural ‘look’ to the exterior.

Extensions that work with the plan of the original building to fully realise its potential and add maximum value.

We listen carefully to the client’s requirements, discuss initial ideas and formulate an outline brief for the project.

We look closely at the site and its context to understand opportunities and constraints to the project, such views, solar orientation, planning policy and a host of other considerations to set the project on the right path from the outset.

We have developed close working relationships with other professionals. Planning consultants, M&E consultants, structural engineers, quantity surveyors and ecology experts.

We also have a long track record of successful planning applications and negotiations, working closely with the local authority planning team to gain officer support at the pre application stage.

Driving the team forward to a successful planning application is our role.
